You don't know me, but I'm a faithful reader of your blog. I'm a french girl from Lyon actually studying in the US, and one day, at work, I missed Lyon so much i just googled it and came accross your blog. :-)
It's really funny to see your expericence there. If you want to practice your french you can go on my blog : frenchiefrog.blogspot.com on my experience in the US. And for your information, my american university (Rutgers) annoyed me with the "repatriation of remains" too... :-)
